Boiler Tube Trainer (2-9/16" Tube)

Model: 240-000

DAC Worldwide’s Boiler Tube Trainer (240-000) is a heavy-duty fixture for convenient classroom or laboratory training in the removal and installation of tubes in industrial fire tube boilers. Based on the geometry and materials of a common Scotch marine boiler, this device allows for repeated practice in the maintenance of tubes without jeopardizing actual equipment, or consuming unnecessary floor space.

Using this trainer, learners will explore how boiler tubes are used for training in various sectors, including the design, application, control, and maintenance of common industrial boiler tubes. The trainer covers industry-relevant skills, such as operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting these industrial learning aids in a variety of applications.

This boiler tube training system includes a variety of industrial components, including tubesheets, stay rods, a sheet metal cowling, and more. Learners will use these components to study topics such as boiler tube principles, maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting. This system utilizes industry-grade components, providing durability to stand up to frequent use, and to aide learners in becoming better prepared for the tasks they will encounter on the job.

Practice Hands-On Heat Transfer Skills for Various Applications

The Boiler Tube Trainer features steel construction throughout, including heavy-duty support frames with removable legs, and provisions for floor mounting. Two ¾” tubesheets with twenty-six (26) penetrations on a 45-degree pitch of 3.54”, and a longitudinal interval of 5” (SA 516-70 plate) are included, with a removable sheet metal cowling to hamper access to area between tubesheets.

Through a variety of realistic features, this device allows for realistic training in good maintenance practice prior to performing work in the field, without jeopardizing actual equipment.
