DAC Worldwide’s Analog Temperature Control PLC Application Panel (464-400) allows learners to program a PLC to create a temperature control scheme similar what’s used on an oven. The Analog Temperature Control PLC Application Panel can be used with DAC Worldwide PLC training systems (#461-000 or #464E) or with outside PLC systems with analog input and output capabilities.
The Analog Temperature Control PLC Training Panel is self-contained and includes a stylized working system replicating an industrial oven, as well as all applicable input and output devices for operation. Connections to a related PLC trainer are made using banana-jack patch-cord connections.
The PLC training system includes: a heater and heatsink, type-J thermocouples with related transmitters, a digital thermometer, and a fan. Primary components and AC electrical devices are mounted within a steel enclosure, but can be seen through an acrylic viewing window. Connections for component features are located on the front panel face.
The 19-inch panel and its related enclosure mount on standard 19-inch rack systems or on related DAC support structures.
