DAC Worldwide’s Electro-Pneumatic PLC Application Panel (464-200) offers unique and challenging PLC programming applications needed to create an active electro-pneumatic system. The product can be used with DAC PLC training systems (#461-000 or #464E) or other PLC systems manufactured.

The Electro-Pneumatic PLC Application Panel is self-contained and includes a stylized working system, as well as all applicable input and output devices. Connections to required PLC systems are made using banana-jack patch-cord connections.

The system consists of multiple double-acting pneumatic cylinders which, through their actions, push a steel ball around a fixed circuit/track. A rotary-acting pneumatic actuator, cylinder-mounted sensors and multiple limit switches are included to further automate the system. The finished system can be used for troubleshooting activities that can be inserted through mechanical adjustments and to air valves mounted on the front panel face.

The 19-inch panel mounts onto standard 19-inch rack systems or on related DAC support structures.
