DAC Worldwide's Flow Nozzle Assembly Cutaway (273-730) depicts a classic in-line, flange-mounted arrangement used in supporting flow measurement using a differential pressure transmitter. This widely-use device is commonly found in manufacturing facilities, petro-chemical plants, refineries and other similar industrial and commercial applications.
The flow nozzle is generally used for measuring the flow of steam as well as non-viscous, erosive and high-velocity media. They can be used in a wide variety of applications that include steam, air, water, vapor, gas, chemical substances, and high temperatures.
The assembly includes two (2) 150 #, socket-welded, ANSI flanges, pipe stubs with pressure tap connections, gaskets, and an aluminum, CNC-machined flow nozzle. Through careful sectioning, the complete internal configuration of the device can be seen while also allowing for disassembly for more compete inspection. A formed-steel baseplate and support brackets position the assembly for optimum viewing.
The cutaway comes mounted on a 14-gauge, formed-steel, powder-coated mounting stand with component attachment brackets. It can also be mounted on related DAC Worldwide bench, workstation, and storage products.
