The Vertical Coupling/Shaft Alignment Training System Plus has a design based on the configuration found in many vertical centrifugal pumps, and accommodates all types of alignment apparatus, including laser systems. Through its realistic features and versatility, this lightweight, yet rigid training fixture will make any training session more productive, convenient, and professional. Learners will use industrial-grade components to study topics such as performing a four-point motor element jacking, mastering usage of a dial indicator in coupling/shaft alignment, troubleshooting angular and parallel misalignment, and installing a flexible disc coupling. Not only do the components provide durability to stand up to frequent use, but they also aid learners in becoming better prepared for the tasks they will encounter on the job.

The Vertical Coupling/Shaft Alignment Training System Plus features a heavy-duty steel baseplate with provision for tabletop mounting. It requires a minimal number of tools, and its rigid construction allows for alignment within .001”. It also comes with four steel pads, an Allen wrench set, combination wrenches, and more.
The Shaft Alignment Tool Kit comes with two CNC-machined shaft bracket sets, two sets of clamp attachment studs, four dial indicator support bars, four dial indicator attachment bars, four swivel clamps, two Starrett universal dial test indicators, and many more useful tools to aid in industrial training. The Standard Shim Kit includes ten shims each – of 13 different thicknesses – each accurate within +/- .001”. Made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that is permanently marked with both nominal thickness and actual thickness information, the kit is perfect for use in the training lab or by the working maintenance professional in the field.
To round out the Vertical Coupling/Shaft Alignment Training System Plus, students will use a Magnetic Base/Dial Indicator Set, a Steel Grid Coupling, and a Rigid Coupling for authentic hands-on learning using equipment encountered on the job.
