DAC Worldwide's Temperature Regulator Cutaway (295-701) is a sectioned temperature regulator allowing for convenient classroom or lab training in the design, operation, construction, and maintenance of this common control device used in oil and gas production. Sometimes referred to as a temperature regulating valve, these self-operating temperature regulators are commonly used in oilfield heater-treaters, separators, pre-heaters, and other types of heating equipment. A variety of carefully planned cut away areas combine to showcase the internal configuration of the device. The tank thermowell is also cut away allowing for view of the primary sensing bulb.
All operational components, features, and hardware locations have been retained allowing for use in maintenance-related training.
Examples from well-known manufacturers, such as Jordan Valve, Trerice, Cash Valve, and Robert Shaw, are chosen for industrial relevance.
