Resonance Demonstration Kit

Model: 203-012

DAC Worldwide's Resonance Demonstration Kit (203-012) is a specialized product option available for use with all related vibration analysis demonstration products that allows for expanded realistic demonstration of system resonance due to imbalance, as well as the effect of a flexible shaft-on-shaft orbits and overall displacement on rotating equipment. The components easily mount on all Vibration Analysis Demonstration (203) devices in combination with standard pillow blocks, couplings, and motors.

Consisting of two, precision-machine and welded steel rotors, with provision for mounting temporary weights at 20 positions radially on each rotor, they also include expanding mounting hubs, and shaft set screws. An aluminum replacement shaft is provided as well.

This unique package of component allows for exaggerated demonstrations of resonance at critical speeds, exaggerated displacement due to imbalance, and the effect of elastic shafts in combination with resonance, misalignment and/or imbalance.

  • Two (2) precision-machined steel rotors with 20 threaded holes accepting specialized socket head cap screws and washers to create imbalance; steel hubs with setscrew
  • One, (1) 0.5-in., 6061-T6, 18-in. aluminum shaft
  • 12, locking socket head cap screws, and washers, allowing for creation of many symmetrical and asymmetrical imbalance circumstances
  • 18-in. L x 6-in. W x 2-in. H (460 x 155 x 50 mm)
  • 2.5 lb ( 1.2 kg)

Includes (2) Rotors, (1) Aluminum Shaft, (12) locking socket head cap screws and washers

For use with Vibration Analysis Training Systems 203, 203D, and 203E.
