Barrel Choke Valve Cutaway

Model: 295-711

DAC Worldwide’s Barrel Choke Valve Cutaway (295-711) is an actual industrial valve sample that allows for effective classroom or laboratory training in the operation, construction, and maintenance of a fixed (bean-type) choke valve.

These industrial valves are commonly used in oil and gas production operations and often found on wellhead assemblies, production manifolds, and kill manifolds.

Through carefully-planned sectioning and color-coding, the complete internal configuration of the choke valve is exposed and showcased. Seal features and hardware locations have been retained, allowing for “hands-on” training in disassembly and maintenance.

  • Sectioning of actual hardware, providing a complete view of the flow channel, bean insert, and seat (common choke valve brands and models chosen, per API 6A, for industrial training relevance).
  • Cleaning, priming, and painting using a high-durability, urethane coating.
  • Color-coding of valve body, internal surfaces, seat, and closure devices using contrast colors.
  • Replacement plated hardware where necessary.
  • All gaskets, seals, and seats shown.
  • Formed-steel, 7-gauge mounting baseplate with provision for tabletop mounting and mounting on related DAC Worldwide bench, workstation and display rack products.
  • Packaging for shipment via motor freight.
