This economical, yet realistic, sectioned valve sample allows for convenient classroom training in the design, construction, and maintenance of industrial concentric, wafer-type resilient seat butterfly valves. Through carefully-planned sectioning and color-coding, the complete internal configuration of the valve is exposed and showcased. Seal features and hardware locations have been retained, allowing for “hands-on” training in maintenance. This economical, tabletop sample supports training in a variety of process-related industries.
Sectioning of an actual flange-mounted industrial valve (common valve makes and models chosen for industrial relevancy) (Flanged, 2 1/2"-3" NPS pipe size varieties are most often chosen).
Cleaning, priming, and painting of exterior surfaces using a high-durability, urethane coating.
Powder-coating of internal surfaces.
Color-coding of valve body, internal surfaces, seat, and closure devices, using contrast colors
