This economical, yet realistic, sectioned valve sample allows for convenient classroom training in the design, construction, and maintenance of industrial safety relief valves. Through carefully-planned sectioning and color-coding, the complete internal configuration of the valve is exposed and showcased. Seal features and hardware locations have been retained, allowing for “hands-on” training in maintenance. This economical, tabletop sample supports training in a variety of process-related industries.
Sectioning of an actual flanged industrial valve (common valve makes and models chosen for industrial relevancy) (threaded, 3/4"-1" NPS inlet pipe size varieties are chosen).
Cleaning, priming, and painting of exterior surfaces using a high-durability, urethane coating.
Powder-coating of internal surfaces.
Color-coding of valve body, internal surfaces, seat, and closure devices, using contrast colors.
Replacement, plated hardware where necessary.
All gaskets, seals, and seats shown.
13-Gauge, formed-steel, powder-coated, baseplate with provision for tabletop mounting, or mounting on related bench, display, workstation and storage rack products.
Steel flanged support pipe assembly, and plated connecting hardware.
