The DAC, #272 Dissectible Industrial Equipment Sample Series, allows for close visual inspection of industrial control and mechanical components in order to better understand their function, design, and operation. Due to the design characteristics of these equipment items, facilitated dissection, coupled with inspection is used rather than physical sectioning or cutaways, as with many other DAC products.

Each device is prepared for easy disassembly and viewing, through the use of simple tools, In many cases clear viewing windows, or substitute components are provided, allowing a complete view of, “what’s inside”, without compromising the structural and mechanical integrity of the item in question.

Each device includes a formed-steel mounting assembly or baseplate, as well as modular support brackets, allowing for ease in disassembly, stand-alone display, bench-top mounting, or mounting on specialized mounting benches.

In each case all primary functional features are retained, allowing for procedural maintenance as well with inspection.
Carefully-chosen industrial hardware samples (well-known component brands and models chosen, for industrial relevancy).
Cleaning, priming, and painting, using a high-durability polyurethane coating, where necessary.
Clear acrylic viewing ports or replacement components, where applicable, for greater visibility.
Replacement, plated hardware, where necessary.
13-Gauge, formed-steel, powder-coated, mounting stands and bases, with 13-gauge modular component attachment brackets.
Provision for mounting on related DAC bench, display and workstation products.
Packaging for shipment via parcel service or motor freight, according to size and weight.
