An introductory hands-on teaching aid and support structure, designed to supplement courses in gear selection and maintenance. The steel, rack-mounted identification panel accommodates magnetic identification tags relating to the gear samples supplied, allowing association of the tag with the appropriate component by the student. A portable mounting structure is also provided, for convenience in mounting/displaying.

Ten, industrial-quality gear samples are provided. The samples include a variety of designs, diametral pitches, pitch diameters, allowing for identification by the student using applicable magnetic tags.

The silk-screened panel face and storage tray assembly can be used on any standard 19in. rack, or on the DAC Sample Panel Support Assembly, which is provided in this package.
