This unique and challenging PLC application allows the student to create the programming needed to create a
temperature control scheme, similar to that used on an oven. The product can be used with DAC PLC training systems or PLC systems manufactured by others having analog input and output capabilities.
The training aid is self-contained and includes a stylized working system replicating an industrial oven, as well as all
applicable input and output devices for operation. Connections to a related PLC trainer are made using banana-jack patch-cord connections.
The system includes; a heater and heatsink, type-J thermocouples with related transmitters, a digital thermometer,
and fan. Primary components and AC electrical devices are mounted within a steel enclosure, but can be seen through an acrylic viewing window. Connections for component features are located on the front panel face.
The 19in.panel and its related enclosure mounts on standard 19in.rack systems, or on related DAC support structures.
1/8" aluminum panel face with powder-coating and silk-screened graphics.
High-durability, powder coated surfaces, allowing for repeated use and rough handling.
Controlled via PLC instructions from a related DAC PLC trainer, or user-supplied equipment.
Primary mechanical and heat treated components are mounted within a steel enclosure.
Provision for mounting on DAC, 945 and 950 mounting frames, or 19" rack assemblies provided by others.
Packaging for shipment via parcel service or motor freight.
24 VDC Power from related PLC trainer, 110/220 V-50/60 Hz external power.
No dedicated courseware provided (see above).
