This unique and challenging PLC application allows the student to create the programming needed to create an active electro-pneumatic system. The product can be used with DAC PLC training systems or PLC systems manufactured by others.

The training aid is self-contained and includes a stylized working system, as well as all applicable input and output devices. Connections to a related PLC trainer are made using banana-jack patch-cord connections.

The system consists of multiple double-acting pneumatic cylinders which, through their actions, push a steel ball around a fixed circuit/track. A rotary-acting pneumatic actuator, cylinder-mounted sensors and multiple limit switches are included to further automate the system. The finished system can be fine- tuned, or troubleshooting activities can be inserted, through mechanical adjustments, and adjustments to air valves mounted on the front panel face.

The 19in. panel mounts on standard 19in. rack systems, or on related DAC support structures.
1/8" aluminum panel face with powder-coating and silk-screened graphics.
Formed-steel and powder coated electrical enclosure box.
High-durability, powder coated surfaces, allowing for repeated use and rough handling.
Controlled via PLC instructions from a related DAC PLC trainer, or user-supplied equipment.
A primary air regulator, and multiple solenoid valves are mounted on the rear of the unit.
Provision for mounting on DAC, 945 and 950 mounting frames, or 19"rack assemblies provided by others.
Packaging for shipment via parcel service or motor freight.
