A highly-detailed scale model of a common fire tube, Scotch marine boiler, supporting training in the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers, as found within utility systems in industrial facilities and large commercial applications.

Based on a common make and model boiler, manufactured by Cleaver-Brooks, the product is a complete to-scale replication of one of the most common boilers in use today. Based on a 4-pass, dry back design, the model includes significant detailing of internal components, visible through a clear acrylic shell.

This teaching aid complements courses in industrial utility systems, boiler operations, and commercial HVAC.

Primary shell fabricated from 5" diameter clear acrylic tube, and allowing view of internal components.
Exterior detail including access door with davit, support skid, fan motor, representative oil delivery components, control panel, representative piping, flue gas outlet, air compressor and exterior burner detail.
Interior detail including representative insulation, burner/burner housing, air damper, tubesheets, tubes, flow arrows, rear door with representative refractory, and furnace liner.
