A detailed scale model depicting features of both barrel-type and horizontally-split, multi-stage centrifugal air compressors, as commonly used in oil & gas production/transmission applications, as well as within the refining industry.

Based on common compressors manufactured by General Electric, Hitachi, Elliott, Rolls Royce, Solar, Dresser-Rand, and others, the training aid includes all primary features, and depicts the internal flow path. The primary housing and secondary components are sectioned allowing for view of internal components, and visualize assembly and disassembly procedures.

Convenient size, detail, color-coding, and multiple cutaways, combine to allow the device to be useful in courses in compressor operation/maintenance and process plant equipment.
Construction based on a variety of well-known compressor designs and manufacturers.

External detail including; inlet and discharge nozzles, casing, support piers, closure rings, oil connections, and bearing housings.
