A highly-detailed scale model of a common industrial furnace supporting training in the operation and maintenance of industrial fired heaters used within refineries and process facilities.

Based on a common designs of furnaces by Tulsa Heater and others, the product is a complete "to-scale" replication of one of the most common fired heaters used today. Based on a cabin-type, box heater design, with twin fireboxes, the model includes significant detailing of internal components, visible through a clear acrylic shell.

This teaching aid complements courses in refinery operations, and process equipment design.
Primary shell fabricated from gray acrylic sheet, with cutaway, allowing view of internal components.
Exterior detail including; support piers, burners, access openings, stack, stack damper, process connections, and stylized structural detail.
Interior detail including; refractory lining, radiant tubes, convection tubes, burners, temperature connections, viewing holes, and stylized structural detail.
Durable PVC baseplate with provision for tabletop mounting, and mounting on related display racks.
