This sectioned industrial multi-stage, side-channel-type pump cutaway allows for convenient classroom and laboratory training in the design, operation, construction and maintenance of this common process pump used in industry. Sometimes referred to as simply a liquid ring or peripheral ring pump, these specialized self-priming pumps are used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications, including vacuum, gas and liquid-gas mixture applications.

Carefully-planned cut way areas combine to showcase the internal configuration of the pump. Seal features, hardware locations and bearings are retained, allowing for use in maintenance-related training. This realistic teaching aid will make introductory courses in multi-stage, side-channel pump maintenance and operations training more productive, realistic and memorable.
