This large and unique valve sample allows for convenient classroom training in the operation, construction, and maintenance of an industrial pinch valve as used in many industries.

These full-bore/fully-ported industrial valves are known for their low maintenance costs, smooth flow characteristics, seal-less design, adaptability to a range of abrasive and corrosive media, and are therefore a popular choice for many heavy industry applications. While small examples are used widely in the medical equipment and pharmaceutical applications, larger examples are commonly used in pulp & paper, wastewater, cement, ceramic and glass industries.

Though carefully-planned sectioning and color-coding, the complete internal configuration of the valve is exposed and showcased. Functional features and hardware locations have been retained, allowing for “hands-on” training in maintenance. Strategic sectioning unveils important features such as the elastomeric sleeve, pinch-bars and the complete linear pinching mechanism.
Sectioning of actual hardware (well-known valve makes and models from US manufacturers are chosen for industrial relevancy).
Cleaning, priming, and painting using a high-durability, urethane coating. Powder-coated interior services.
Color-coding of valve body, internal process surfaces, seat, and closure device, using contrast colors.
