This basic, hand-held vibration meter is offered to complement several DAC training products relating to preventive/predictive maintenance, basic vibration monitoring and the maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, generally.

Chosen for economy and adaptability to multiple circumstances, this industrial-duty diagnostic tool represents an important troubleshooting tool for the working maintenance department, as well as the advanced mechanical training program. The meter and vibration sensor is contained in a single handheld, high-impact plastic unit with membrane controls.

Importantly, this meter has both three measurement ranges and three modes of measurement; Velocity, Displacement and acceleration, ideal for teaching the principles of severity, while allowing use in a wide range of amplitudes.

Primarily used to spot check for developing and active machinery faults in fans, compressors, motors, pumps, gear reducers, conveyors and other rotating equipment, this portable device should to a part of every maintenance technician’s took kit.
Three amplitude ranges; 2,20,200 mils (peak-to-peak) displacement, in/sec (peak) velocity, g’s (peak) acceleration.
Range 180-60k rpm.
3.5 digit numeric LCD display.
Accuracy, 2.5% of full scale.
Pushbutton membrane controls.
Rotationally-molded impact-resistant carrying case with foam insert.
Supplementary threaded pick-up/probe allowing direct threaded connection to rotating machine.
