This sectioned, specialty valve sample supports training in the design features, internal components, and maintenance of adjustable chokes used in oil & gas production operations.

Used as an essential pressure break-down and flow control device in wellhead assemblies, these large-scale needle valves are common in both on-shore and off-shore applications.

A full 90° cutaway of the valve body showcases all primary internal components, including, stem, seat/orifice bean, and seal components. Distinctive painting enhances cutaway services, and internal flow paths.
Sectioning of actual hardware, providing a complete view of the stem, seat/restricting orifice bean and seal components (common 2-1/16" oilfield valve brands and models chosen for relevancy).
Cleaning, priming, and painting using a high-durability, urethane coating.
Color-coding of valve body, internal surfaces, seat, and internal flow path, using contrast colors.
Replacement, plated hardware, where necessary.
All gaskets, seals, and seats shown.
7-Gauge, formed-steel, mounting baseplate with provision for tabletop mounting.
