One of an extensive series of actual industrial gear reducers for use in classroom and laboratory hands-on training relating to mechanical drives. This example, procured as industrial surplus, has been cleaned, restored, repainted, and mounted on a modular, heavy-gauge, steel baseplate.

This assembly can be mounted on related bench, workstation and storage products. All primary functional features have been retained, and replacement hardware provided where necessary.

The device allows for realistic experience in the detailed disassembly, inspection and re-assembly of a common in-line helical gear reducer as used in industrial electro-mechanical systems.
7-Gauge, formed-steel baseplate with provision for bench-top, workstation and storage rack mounting.
Restoration of actual industrial in-line helical gear reducer, including oil removal, cleaning and repainting (Examples from well-known manufacturers are chosen for industrial relevancy).
Painting, using a high-durability urethane coating.
Aluminum support stand-offs.
Replacement hardware, where necessary.
Formed-steel, magnetic parts container, with liners.
Crating for shipment via motor freight, courier, or sea freight.
